The Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan is actively working on the development of the cricket sport on a large scale. In particular, the Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan, which aims to establish cooperation on cricket in Central Asia, sent an invitation to the Cricket Federation of Tajikistan.
According to this proposal, on February 8, the president of the Tajikistan Cricket Federation, Najibullahi Rozi, arrived in Tashkent. Today, on February 10, a memorandum aimed at the development of bilateral cooperation was signed between the chairman of The Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan, Aziz Mikhliev, and the chairman of the Tajikistan Cricket Federation, Najibillohi Rozi.
According to this signed document, the cricketers of both countries will now jointly play the three-tier international competitions established by the International Cricket Council (ICC) and thus both federations will have fulfilled the requirements of the International Cricket Council (ICC).
As stated in the memorandum, in May of this year, men's and women's national cricket teams of Tajikistan will visit Tashkent and compete with national cricket teams of our country for the first time.
