The Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan signed a memorandum of cooperation with Tashkent Perfect University

The Uzbekistan Cricket Federation has paid particular attention to developing the sport of cricket in our country, especially targeting youth development within the framework of the recent Olympic Games program.

In this regard, the Cricket Federation has significantly expanded its collaboration in cricket with higher education institutions. Specifically, yesterday, on March 18, at our capital's Tashkent Perfect University, the Uzbekistan Cricket Federation and Tashkent Perfect University signed a bilateral cooperation memorandum aimed at enhancing cricket among students and youth.

The memorandum was signed by the President of the Uzbekistan Cricket Federation, Aziz Mixliyev, and the Rector of the university, Daurenbek Ilesaliyev. The purpose of the memorandum, observed between the university and the Cricket Federation, is to promote cricket among students, attract talented student-athletes to this sport, organize cricket competitions, and establish a direction to train specialists in cricket at this university in the near future.

During the memorandum signing ceremony, the Rector's advisor of Tashkent Perfect University, Ulugbek Muhammadiyev, the Head of Research, Innovations, and International Cooperation Department, Abdurahmon Nasullayev, the Director of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Feruza Norboyeva, along with students and public media representatives participated.

Upon the conclusion of the memorandum signing ceremony, Aziz Mixliyev, President of the Uzbekistan Cricket Federation, provided information to the participants about the internal and international cooperation activities of cricket sports, emphasizing the expansion of tourism through the development of cricket sports.

It is worth noting that the Uzbekistan Cricket Federation began its activities in 2019 and, under the leadership and initiatives of President Aziz Mixliyev, has strengthened international relations with countries where cricket is developing.

The agreement signed by Tashkent Perfect University and the Cricket Federation will further contribute to the development of cricket sports in our country and serve as another significant initiative to popularize it among youth.
