Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan and Pakistan Cricket Board signed a memorandum of cooperation
In July, 2021, during the framework of the official visit of the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Imran Khan, attended at the press conference organized after the document exchange ceremony with the participation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Koksaroy, and the matter of further strengthening of friendly relations between the two countries, including the development of the cricket sport in our country, were discussed.
After that, the chairman of the Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan, Aziz Mihliev, organized a business trip to the city of Lahore of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and met with the officials of the Pakistan Cricket Board.
Issues of strengthening cooperation between the Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan and the Pakistan Cricket Board were discussed at the meeting. Also, an agreement was reached between the Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan and the Pakistan Cricket Board on mutual exchange of experience, and a memorandum on the intellectual development of cricket in our country was signed between Aziz Mihliev and the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board Ramiz Roja.
According to this memorandum, the Pakistan Cricket Board will be conducting cricket trainings. It mainly focuses on improving the skills of coaches and cricketers.
According to a special program, the Pakistan Cricket Board will send specialists and they will conduct umpiring courses, coaching courses, and practical and theoretical training sessions of various levels. In addition, training sessions for our teams of different ages will be organized at the national cricket skill center in Lahore, Pakistan.
