Jalalabad, January 21, 2023, 2 pm: ANFA Cricket Club started their Interclub Friendly T20 Matches with a six wickets win over Sultan Zada Cricket Club at the Behsood Ground, Jalal Abad, Afghanistan on Saturday.

As the first match starts, the toss won by ANFA Cricket Club captain Sameem Wakeel and invited Sultan Zada cricket club to bat first.

In this historic day bowling started by Zubair Akbari from ANFA Cricket Club. Zubair Akbari bowled three overs and gave fourteen runs with no wicket. Niamatullah Sahak bowled 2.4 overs giving 20 runs for one wicket. Sameem Wakeel bowled three overs and gave 13 runs for three wickets. Wali Agha bowled four overs and gave 24 runs for three wickets. Aman Ullah Kunari bowled three overs, gave 13 and got one wicket. Habib Rehman bowled three over, one maiden and gave 15 runs for two wickets.

For ANFA, Wali Agha was among the most successful bowlers in the much-awaited match of the tournament, finishing with figures 3/24 in four overs at the iconic Behsood Ground.

Zubair Akbari and Sohail Sediqi open for ANFA cricket club. Ibraheem Abdul Raheemizai opened the bowling from Sultan Zada Cricket Club. Ibraheem Abdul Raheemzai bowled three overs, gave 18 runs for one wicket. Akbar bowled 3.4, gave 21 runs and got one wicket. Sediq bowled four overs gave 29 runs, got two wickets. Zaryali bowled 2 overs, gave 12 runs. Fawad bowled 2 overs and gave 19 runs.

Sultan zada cricket clubs gave 7 extra runs to ANFA Cricket Club. ANFA Cricket Club won by Six wickets. Man of the first match, Habib Ur Rehman, made three over, one maiden and two wickets, fifteen runs.

Jalalabad, January 22, 2023, 2 pm: Toss won by ANFA Cricket Club captain Sameem Wakeel and selected to bowl first. Sultan Zada Cricket Club opened batting with both regular openers, right hand Asif Mosazai and left hand Dil Agha. Asif Mosazai bowled out by ANFA medium fast bowler Iqdam on 16 runs.

ANFA bowlers tried to stop Sultan Zada Cricket Club to give them big target. ANFA bowlers such as Niamat Ullah Sahak put their best efforts four overs, 28 runs with three wickets.

ANFA Cricket Club opened batting with both openers i.e. Zubair Akbari made 37, played 23 balls. One of the brightest player Sohail Sediqi gone by duck played, three balls. Akbar Mosazai made 33, played 18 balls. Atif also contributed 33 runs and played 19 balls.

ANFA Cricket Club won the match by six wickets and chased the target in 12.3 overs. Man of the match was Niamat Ullah Sahak with four over, 28 runs and three wickets.

Jalalabad, January 24, 2023, 9 am: In the final match day, toss won by Sultan Zada Captain and chose to bowl first. ANFA’s two openers Zubair Akbari and Ahamad tarakhel came to bat and started the inning for ANFA cricket club brilliantly. During the final match, ANFA’s batter played all twenty overs and lost six wickets and made 223 runs. Sultan Zada Cricket gave a bit tough time to ANFA cricket by making 199 runs in reply. Asif Mosazai played excellently by making 56 runs, with only 33 ball, 6 fours and 3 sixes.

ANFA Cricket Club bowlers bowled very good, especially, by Sameem Wakeel who made three wickets by giving only 19 runs. Niamat Ullah Sahak bowled 3 overs giving 36 runs and did not get any wickets for his team.

ANFA cricket players achieved full control on the match and won the third Twenty20 game for their club.

ANFA Cricket Club’s iconic win over Sultan Zada Cricket Club during the Interclub Friendly T20 Matches led to an outburst of emotions and joy throughout the cricket fans in Uzbekistan with Habib Ur Rehman’s innings being one of his bests.
