CRICKET FEDERATION IS FOCUSING ON TRAINING OF COACHES AS WELL

As announced before, from March 10 to March 12 of this year, the International Cricket Council (ICC) held the second round of the "Level-I" international cricket coaching training course at the Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan. This training course was conducted by a high-class instructor, head of ICC's cricket sport development department in Asian countries, Mr. Iqbal Sikander (UAE).

45 participants of the seminar, consisting of sports experts and students gathered from different regions of our republic. Upon completing the three-day training, participants had their obtained abilities be tested by the representative of the ICC, and the ones who successfully passed the exams received the first-level international cricket coach certificate of the International Cricket Council. Importantly, trainers who have obtained the first level international cricket coaching certificate, now have the opportunity to work as cricket coaches not only in our country, but also in foreign countries.

At the end of the seminar, ICC representative Iqbal Sikander was presented with souvenirs by the Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan.

It should be noted that the Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan is considered an official associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) from 2022.
